BBL Photofacial

Photodamage, also known as hyperpigmentation and sunspots, are a result of years of sun and/or ultraviolet exposure. The signs of aging is not just volume loss, but pigmentation changes, coarse texture, redness, enlarged pores, broken capillaries, and of course wrinkles. A Photofacial is an broad band light therapy which penetrates through your skin and heats the surface layers. Immediately after treatment, your hyperpigmentation will start to darken. Over the course of a week to two weeks (depending on which area of the body is being treated), the spots will look very dark and begin to slough off. This is literally your hyperpigmentation coming to the surface. A series of Photofacial treatments are recommended, as there are several layers to the skin, and your sun damage is at different levels.
